About the role:

  • Hybrid / WFH Role for Melbourne based applicants
  • Role will commence on the 2nd July 2024
  • Perm Full Time Role

The role of a Retention Advisor is to understand why customers are looking to leave Bupa and to retain them as a customer. Customers may be dropping their private health insurance all together or switching to another fund. We try to retain our members through having a detailed conversation where we connect and understand them and their families’ situation/needs, ultimately presenting a tailored solution.

You will be working fulltime equating to 38 hours per week Monday – Friday on a rotational roster between 8am-8pm AEST.

About you:

  • You have a passion for helping people and are naturally empathetic. With your unique desire to help our customers you will ensure they are always satisfied.
  • You’re quite resilient with ability to take one call after another
  • You’ll be a team player who is punctual and happy to step in for your teammates when needed
  • Have recent customer service experience in a related environment
  • The ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a disciplined virtual environment
  • Mature attitude to your work with sensitivity to our customer’s confidential information
  • A passion for Customer Service with experience in a related environment
  • Have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Be tech savvy with the ability to work across multiple IT platforms and screens effortlessly
  • Already have or the ability to obtain NBN internet that has bandwidth of 50mbps or greater
