We are currently seeking a Senior Functional Lead for a full-time permanent position

  • As a Senior Functional Lead, you will have extensive experience in Microsoft Power Platform to drive the development and implementation of innovative business solutions. You will understand both the business processes and the capabilities of software and/or systems to ensure that outcomes align with organisational goals. 
  • The role is pivotal in providing leadership and strategic direction across multiple delivery and support squads within the technology domain. Acting as the main liaison between business and technical solutions. 
  • You will engage in strategic activities including research into new methodologies, and advising on opportunities for application enhancement and advancement.

Your Contribution:

  • Provide strategic direction and functional leadership for the development of business systems using Microsoft Power Platform. 
  • Lead the design, development and customisation of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform to meet overall strategic business requirements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and develop custom applications and workflows. 
  • Lead the management of the full lifecycle of Power Platform projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, integration, testing, deployment, and support. 
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices in solution architecture, data integrity, and security. 
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower end-users and enhance adoption of Power Platform solutions. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest Power Platform features and capabilities, incorporating innovative tools and techniques into solution designs and recommending enhancements and optimizations to drive efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technical requirements and solutions. 
  • Coordinate with technical leads to ensure the technical architecture aligns with functional requirements and business goals 
  •  Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for the effective governance and management of Power Platform solutions within the organisation. 
  •  Undertake work analysis, solution and functional design activities with high-quality documentation to guide the design of solutions that meet business needs.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Scaled Agile Framework 
  • 10+ years proven experience as a Senior Functional Lead or similar role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents). 
  • Excellent understanding of business process automation, custom application development, and data analytics. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions. 
  • You are an advanced strategic thinker, effective at managing change and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Significant Leadership qualities, with experience managing and mentoring a team of developers and specialists. 
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, with familiarity with healthcare processes, regulations, and data privacy considerations desirable.
