Sales Consultant (Evergreen)

Your new role:
The Sales team actively acquire new Bupa members by having value-based conversations with customers and ensuring they are offered solutions that meet their and their families health insurance and lifestyle needs. With a deep knowledge of our products and your professional and friendly approach, you will be taking predominantly inbound calls. You will be working fulltime equating to 38 hours per week Monday – Friday on a rotational roster between 8am-8pm AEST. This role also includes an optional overtime shift of 9am-1pm AEST on Saturday.

During the first few weeks you will complete a comprehensive andimmersive remote training program, led by our highly experienced training team, to set you up for success in your role. The program includes a virtual classroom, e-learning, product and knowledge training, and gives you access to our state-of-the-art knowledge base system, "Know-It". Your learning and development doesn’t stop there, we keep our teams small to support you in what can sometimes be a tough role to ensure we always support you. We give frequent coaching from both our dedicated coaches and Team Leader’s and want to help you realise to your potential and will be there every step of the way!
You have a passion for helping people and are naturally empathetic. With your unique desire to help our customers you will ensure they are always satisfied. In addition:
- You’re quite resilient with ability to take multiple back-to-back calls
- You’ll be a team player who is punctual and happy to step in for your teammates when needed
- Have recent sales experience in a related environment
- The ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a disciplined virtual environment
- Mature attitude to your work with sensitivity to our customer’s confidential information
- A passion for Customer Service with experience in a related environment
- Have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be tech savvy with the ability to work across multiple IT platforms and screens effortlessly
- Already have or the ability to obtain NBN internet that has bandwidth of 50mbps or greater
