About the opportunity:

The Technology ITSM Configuration Administrator is responsible for influencing, designing, implementing and maintaining a production Configuration process for all technology and business services across Bupa APAC, and ensuring business and technical stakeholder commitment and adherence to this process.

This will include developing, maintaining and enforcing Configuration, policies, directives and procedures ensuring maximum benefit and support for all ITSM process and other CMDB dependent functionality. 

In addition, this role will oversee the ongoing administration of Configuration practices and supporting standard processes via appropriate tools (e.g. ServiceNow).

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

• Administer an efficient and robust configuration management process, recognising the different levels of process maturity across different teams, with particular focus on encouraging and educating those teams with low levels of process maturity and experience.

• Influence, design, implement and maintain a production configuration management process for all services across Bupa APAC.

• Liaise with multiple teams across technology and business to ensure adherence and adoption of relevant processes.

• Work with other operational process leads as required improving the performance, maturity and adoption of operational processes.

• Influence and improve all operational processes in adherence with operational processes and procedures to ensure ongoing service improvements.

• Ownership, administration and maintenance of an ITIL aligned production configuration management database for Bupa APAC.

• Development of associated tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and their use to implement standard configuration management processes.

• Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement to the configuration management processes, with associated configuration changes to delivery tools, such as ServiceNow.

Ideal experience you will bring to the role:

• Demonstrable experience as detailed above.

• Demonstrated technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies. (E.g. Azure, Intune & SCCM)

• Good understanding of ServiceNow and ideally experience with Configuration Manager.

• Experience driving process adoption and continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated success in defining, implementing and evolving ITIL methodologies and processes, with particular emphasis in Configuration and Change Management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
