Assignment Location:
Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Hybrid

Assignment Duration:
12 weeks

Working Hours: To be agreed with the hiring team.

About the assignment

We’re investing in stronger workforce insight to ensure we have the right capability, in the right roles, at the right time, supporting sustainable growth and our purpose of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives.

This assignment will sit across Talent Acquisition and Organisational Development and will focus on strengthening how we define, assess and select capability across our workforce. The initial focus will be on high‑volume frontline and corporate roles, with an emphasis on fair, consistent and scalable assessment practices that support effective hiring at pace.

The work will enhance and better connect existing recruitment and talent practices by establishing a shared, evidence‑based approach to capability. Building on tools such as Sapia, the assignment will support a more consistent, data‑led view of candidate capability, readiness and potential, informing both selection decisions in TA and downstream development, mobility and talent review conversations in OD.

While the initial focus is on volume recruitment roles, the approach will be designed to scale across role types, creating continuity in how capability is assessed and described as talent progresses into mid‑senior and executive roles.

You will lead a focused, stand‑alone project shaped around this opportunity, defining how capability frameworks, assessment tools and talent data come together to support better hiring, development and workforce decisions. From day one, you will work closely with Talent Acquisition leaders, Organisational Development, Learning and Development and key stakeholders, embedding the approach into how we assess candidates, run talent reviews and plan for future capability needs.

  • Capability insights and heatmaps that highlight strengths, gaps, bench depth and emerging risks across roles and segments
  • Actionable recommendations that leaders, TA and OD teams can use to improve selection quality, target development and support internal mobility
