The purpose of this role
The purpose of the People Advisor role is to provide exceptional employee relations support while building your capability within a purpose‑led, global healthcare organisation. As a trusted advisor, you will manage end‑to‑end employee relations cases and deliver pragmatic, high‑quality advice that supports leaders to navigate people matters with confidence.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your employee relations expertise and broaden your exposure across a large organisation. On a day‑to‑day basis, you’ll partner closely with the wider people team and leaders to resolve employment relations matters, interpret policies and industrial instruments, and coach leaders through people processes, all while contributing to continuous improvement across the People function.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Demonstrated experience managing end to end employee relations cases
- Experience coaching leaders and employees through conduct, performance and grievance processes, systems and policy interpretation and application.
- Experience supporting and conducting workplace investigations
- Experience with interpretation and application of employment contracts, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience with ability to influence People Leaders.
- Experience supporting HR processes and policies across the employee lifecycle.
- An ability to work with a degree of autonomy and independent judgment
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to apply sound judgement in complex and sensitive situations
- A proactive, customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high‑quality, consistent People outcomes
