This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team environment, with the potential for the role to transition into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Claims Processing Consultant, you will manage complex Hospital Claims and support our customers and providers through the claims assessment process. You’ll work across multiple systems to review, assess, and resolve claims enquiries while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and processing Hospital Health Insurance claims accurately and efficiently
  • Managing complex claims and exception processing
  • Responding to customer and provider enquiries via phone and written communication
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and better customer outcomes
  • Working across multiple systems and applications to manage claims end-to-end

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence navigating multiple systems and computer applications
  • A customer-first mindset with empathy and professionalism
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute positively to the team

Experience within health insurance or claims processing environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.

For the first three months, you will complete comprehensive training onsite at our Adelaide CBD office. Following this period, you’ll transition to a hybrid working arrangement with:

2 days working from the office

3 days working from home

This flexible model supports both collaboration and work-life balance.
