The purpose of the Optical Dispenser role is todeliver world-class service and drive sales and profit outcomes through the interpretation of optical prescriptions, fitting and servicing optical appliances such as spectacle frames and lenses, while also contributing to meeting sales targets and driving promotions and special campaigns.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Flexibility to travel between Belconnen & Woden stores as needed to support operations
- Optical experience preferred, or a solid retail background
- Deliver world-class customer service while driving sales and profit outcomes
- Interpret optical prescriptions and accurately fit and service optical appliances, including spectacle frames and lenses
- Assist in achieving individual and store sales targets
- Actively support and promote in-store promotions and special campaigns
- Provide expert guidance to customers on appropriate frame selection, with a strong awareness of current trends
- Demonstrate pride in delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships
- Bring proven customer service and sales experience, ideally within an optical practice or high-performing retail environment
- Show the ability to work in a target-driven sales environment
