Bupa Ballina is a beautiful care home set in the scenic seaside town of Ballina on the North Coast of NSW. Located near the airport and beaches, this care home provides an awesome tropical landscape. At our Ballina home there are both full and part time opportunities available (min.21 hours per week) where you'll receive on-the-job experience, formal training and support - all leading to a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).

What does the Trainee Carer program with Bupa look like?

You’ll be supported to learn and grow as you provide quality, person-centred care to our residents. The training is designed to reflect your day-to-day responsibilities as a Carer, giving you the confidence and experience to thrive in the role. Upon completion there will be the option to transfer to a Carer position within the home.

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine passion for caring for others and working in aged care 
• Empathy, patience, and a nurturing nature 
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency only (Unfortunately, working holiday and student visas with work restrictions are not eligible)
