Care Manager | Banora Point - Expressions of Interest 

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from Clinicians with Care Manager experience in aged care, for our home close to the Southern Gold Coast.

The heart of the role:  

As our Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance, helping them to live longer, healthier, and happier lives.


As our Care Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
  • Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education
  • Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes
  • Lead compliance with AN ACC assessments
  • Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers
  • Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits
  • Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements
  • Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners, and other services to provide optimal resident care


To be successful in the role, you should have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA is essential
  • Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded
  • Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds within the aged care industry
  • A proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
