About the Role | Workplace Experience Engineer– Brisbane (Permanent, Onsite – 5 days in office)
We’re looking for a Workplace Experience Engineer to join our Technical Support team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional end-user technical support and enhancing workplace experiences. You’ll specialize in Unified Communication Products and Services, supporting physical meeting rooms, workplace seminars, and events. Your work will ensure seamless collaboration and communication across the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage incidents for reported or discovered faults involving Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) devices.
- Monitor the health of unified communication services daily, including video conferencing.
- Provide technical support for workplace seminars and events, including planning, setup, and post-event feedback.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on hardware and ensure firmware/software updates.
- Deliver concierge services for complex online meetings and high-priority executive/board meetings.
- Prepare monthly reports on room utilization and health metrics.
- Track stock levels and end-of-life (EOL) device dates.
- Assist with technical requests for offsite or after-hours events.
- Coach and train team members on unified communication products and services.
- Provide second-level support for end-user devices and services, including: MTR, desktops, laptops, peripherals, desktop client applications, mobile devices, tablets, and printers.
- Deliver high-level customer service, consulting, and training across end-user devices and communication tools.
- Research emerging technologies and assess their potential benefits.
- Support deployment and problem resolution for platform systems.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong technical knowledge across Unified Communications, VC panels, conferencing equipment, Windows 10/11 PCs, ServiceNow, and MS Office.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting VC equipment, PC images, SCCM, and hardware configurations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: team-oriented, proactive communicator, and relationship builder.
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver results while meeting customer expectations.
- Analytical thinker with a passion for applying expertise and learning new technologies.
