Key details:
Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
- Casual Pathology Collectors/Health Assessor position at our busy Dandenong Centre
- Must have good availability to pick up shifts Monday to Saturday
- Centre hours can be from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am-4pm on Saturdays
- Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours
What you’ll do:
- Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
- Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
- Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
- Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
Your background:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
- 2 years phlebotomy experience (essential)
- Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
- Excellent customer service skills
