We are seeking a AI Solution Architect to join us on a permanent basis. You’ll be the prime solution architecture practitioner for AI applications within the AI Factory team. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling AI-driven solutions that address specific business problems. This role focuses on translating business requirements into technical solutions by leveraging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver impactful AI solutions. 

This role provides cross-organisational leadership to ensure coherent and high quality solutions that provide the business area with end-to-end integrity and the AI Factory team with clear and actionable designs. This senior practitioner role has range and autonomy to work across multiple products and projects, with scope both to own deliverables directly and operate as a consulative expert. Working as a consultative member of the leadership group, this role will also offer SME expertise and supporting the achievement of the shared technology outcomes. The role holder will be a team player with self-starting, proactive and dynamic behaviours, working with the Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to bridge design activities right across the SDLC.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • At least 5+ years experience as an architecture practitioner, with preference for 5+ years prior experience and a success record in hands-on solutioning and engineering. 
  • Significant experience designing and implementing AI applications, including GenAI applications. 
  • Significant, diverse expertise in platforms and technology ecosystems, in customer-centric organisations. 
  • Appropriate experience as an Solution Architect within a large corporate environment or in a top tier consulting practice. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent professional experience (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering). 
  • Professional qualifications – appropriate certifications in architecture practice, analysis and design. 
  • Strong communication skills, with experience engaging successfully at multiple levels of seniority. 
  • Experience working within matrix structures, with demonstrated ability to broker outcomes effectively and collaboratively with colleagues and peers. 
  • Experience working with architecture design, modelling and documentation toolsets, including Ardoq / Hopex and appropriate drawing tools. 
  • Experience delivering within defined budgets and timeframes.
