The Opportunity: Business Capability Manager
The Business Capability Manager is a strategic role within our Customer Engagement, Personalisation and GTM (CEPG) team, responsible for shaping, coordinating, and translating new business initiatives into executable delivery outcomes. Beyond being a liaison with our Enterprise Delivery Office, this person acts as an integrator, planner, and influencer - ensuring that CEPG’s collective priorities, dependencies, and capacity are accurately represented, understood, and acted upon in enterprise forums. The role will provide a single empowered voice for CEPG into the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO) and senior stakeholders, while driving alignment between enterprise priorities and CEPG’s delivery capabilities. This role ensures that business ambition is connected with delivery reality, that dependencies are proactively managed, and that initiatives are set up for success from pre-discovery through to delivery execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
Here's what you can look forward to in this role:
1. Enterprise Liaison & Representation:
- Serve as the empowered single point of contact between CEPG and EDO, representing collective delivery priorities and dependencies.
- Articulate CEPG capacity, risks, and delivery considerations clearly to senior leaders and enterprise stakeholders.
2. Pre-Discovery & Estimation Support:
- Engage early with business stakeholders to shape initiatives and assess feasibility.
- Coordinate with functional leads to produce effort estimates and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
3. Planning & Coordination:
- Facilitate planning and pre-planning events to ensure enterprise visibility of CEPG priorities.
- Coordinate across squads and domains to identify, manage, and resolve dependencies. Maintain and publish artifacts such as roadmaps, capacity outlooks, and dependency registers.
4. Communication & Reporting:
- Provide timely updates on CEPG delivery progress, risks, and capacity to EDO forums.
- Translate technical and operational details into clear, outcome-focused narratives for executives.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process inefficiencies in planning and dependency management and recommend improvements.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
• Strong program management background with at least 5 years in leading role in a large corporate
preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in business capability, portfolio, or program management within large, complex
organisations.
• Strong background in delivery planning, estimation, and dependency management across multiple teams.

non-technical audiences.
• Proven stakeholder management experience with cross-functional and executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience in Marketing Technology, Digital Delivery, or Customer Engagement domains.
