At Bupa we are undertaking a connectivity upgrade to over 400 sites, and we have the need for 3 x 12-month fixed term employee to join us to support this piece of work.  We are looking for skilled Connectivity Network Engineers who have experience in delivering end to end design and development network & telephony services. 

2 x roles will be supporting the deployment and upgrades of all our Cisco routers through Cisco SDWAN deployment and administration. Experience with Cisco Router, Switches and Wireless experience essential/highly desirable. 

1 x role will be supporting the voice rollout, and we are seeking an experienced Cisco Webex Engineer with call administration exp. Other Voice experience and/or Cisco Call Manager highly desirable.   

All three roles are hybrid with WFH, office work coupled with some onsite visits to stores and practices within your local area only. No extensive travel requited. 

Skills required to be successful in the role: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level and/or extensive relevant experience as detailed above Experience in multiple IS disciplines Infrastructure security knowledge, competence and experience 
  • 3-5 years of commercial IT experience attained in a similar Network support/engineering role. 
  • A level of technical expertise in the support and management of Network Infrastructure. Ability to produce and review technical documentation. 
  • CCNA or favourably CCNP required 
  • ITIL understanding 
  • Good level of technical knowledge across the defined areas of responsibility for this role 
  • Strong Skills in the configuration and maintenance of networking/communications infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies. 
  • Skills in Cisco based routing and switching 
  • Cisco Wireless configuration/setup and troubleshooting 
  • Cisco Meraki Firewall, Switch and Wireless configuration 
  • Experience with Network scripting, including Python and Ansible 
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills. 
  • Excellent knowledge of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). 
  • Cisco IP Telephony experience, CUCM administration, phone setup and troubleshooting.
