Customer Care Bookings Partner

The opportunity:
Our Customer Care Team is the engine room of our health services to the ADF, responding tomember enquiries and booking appointments for our ADF members from bases nationwide. It’s a busy, varied and customer-focused team working to quick turnaround times and high standards of support. But, by doing a great job, you’ll be playing your part in supporting the health journey of the men and women who serve our country.
This role is a hybrid role, you must be able to work from the office location being Melbourne CBD, this role will commence February 2026. You will spend your time reviewing referral requests as they come in, prioritising the most urgent, and calling healthcare practitioners to make bookings.
You'll be:
- Assessing and processing bookings
- Inbound and outbound calls with ADF personnel and healthcare providers
- Booking and enquiry support
- Management of queue work
- Online file system management
- Be accountable for your scorecard and its deliverables
- Attending and participating in team meetings, coaching sessions, training and one on ones
- No sales at all - this is purely customer service

What do I need?
- Minimum requirements – completed year 12
- Experience in customer service roles
- This is a Security Cleared Position. The occupant must be an Australian Citizen and must be eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance
- Strong customer service skills, commitment and a desire to satisfy customer needs
- Genuine passion for meeting and exceeding customer expectations and delivering results
- Strong communication skills including excellent listening skills.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience within a customer service environment.
- Proven track record to achieve set targets.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
- Computer literate/effective keyboard skills.
