Empower to Employ Intern

About the role:
The intern will provide support under the direction of more senior colleagues
This internship is an invaluable opportunity. Students are exposed to industry leaders and role models while developing transferable skills that enable progress through university and their professional careers after graduation.
Key Responsibilities
- 8 week fixed term role which is primarily for tuition and vocational experience.
- Develop and work towards achievement of learning contract.
- Interns will work together on developing their winning solution concept created in the Empower to Employ program.
- The intern will assist with routine tasks under the instruction of more senior employees
- Every intern is required to deliver a presentation at the end of their internship. The activity is highly valued. It develops the intern’s confidence in presenting, shares the highlights of the experience, and allows the intern to say thank you to their team and organization.
About You
- A student working towards a relevant qualification but is not yet qualified
- A student engaged in the University of Melbourne and Bupa Empower to Employ Program
