The purpose of this job is…..
This is a high-impact role that will contribute to the strategic financial direction of the business. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Technology & Digital leadership team to align financial goals with strategic priorities. Applying your financial lens, you’ll transform data into meaningful insights and deliver high-quality commercial acumen with deep financial expertise across cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and be a catalyst for continuous improvement; enhancing reporting, streamlining financial processes, and helping shape the future of finance within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver monthly reporting, forecasts and insights, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
- Oversee accurate financial results, month‑end close and adherence to finance policies.
- Provide commercial insights to support decision‑making and performance optimisation.
- Support the delivery of forecast and annual operating plan as part of the 3-year annual planning process - includes leading the collation, analysis and providing information to support throughout preparation process, as well as managing the accurate submission into the finance system
- Manage regular forecasts and leverage knowledge and relationships to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Contribute to the development and assessment of business cases and financial models
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including a strong understanding of key activities and drivers.
What you’ll need to make it possible
We're seeking a driven and collaborative Finance Business Partner to join our Technology & Digital FP&A team. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders as well as getting involved in the day-to-day analysis and execution, is proactive and can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
Strong commercial acumen, a strategic mindset, and exceptional analytical skills are vital, alongside the ability to drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also require:
- Degree qualified – Finance / Business or similar
- CA / CPA equivalent desired
- Demonstrated experience partnering with C-suite stakeholders, delivering finance partnering, FP&A or Management Accounting
- Experience working in a technology team is highly desired
- Strong technical expertise in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning
- Highly competent user of Oracle Peoplesoft
