The Finance Manager - Benefits Realisation Management is responsible for leading the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of benefits realisation across Bupa’s enterprise portfolio initiatives. This role owns the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise benefits realisation framework, ensuring value is delivered in line with approved business cases, strategic objectives, and enterprise OKRs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Finance, the Manager partners with the strategy team, business units, and enabling functions to ensure robust benefit realisation practices are embedded across all programmes and initiatives. The role provides expert guidance and analytical support to project teams, supporting the review of business cases to ensure benefits align with enterprise targets and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). The Manager also champions best practice, data integrity, and compliance with benefit realisation standards, contributing to the achievement of Bupa’s strategic goals.
How will I help?
- Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise benefits realisation framework, ensuring alignment with Bupa’s strategic objectives
- Continuously improve benefit realisation processes, tools, and templates to drive consistency, rigour, and value delivery across the enterprise
- Monitor enterprise benefit realisation performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends to inform decision-making
- Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of benefit realisation data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of outputs
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on benefit realisation to senior leaders, Heads of Portfolio Management, and other stakeholders
- Ensure business cases include clear, measurable benefits realisation plans and tracking mechanisms, aligned to strategic priorities and enterprise OKRs
- Work with business units to ensure benefit assumptions are evidence-based and achievable
- Build strong relationships with the strategy team, Heads of Portfolio Management, Initiative Owners, Finance, and other enabling functions to support benefit realisation objectives

What do I need?
We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and benefits realisation management. The role requires a proven ability to design, implement, and enhance benefit realisation frameworks and processes within complex, matrixed environments.
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced expertise in benefit realisation methodologies, frameworks, and tools, with the capability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, including the ability to interpret data, validate performance, and provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making.
Collaboration and stakeholder engagement are critical to success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a consultative approach, will enable effective engagement and influence across all levels of the organisation.
Experience in continuous improvement and capability building is highly valued, including identifying process enhancements, implementing best practices, and supporting training or mentoring initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required, and postgraduate qualifications in Finance or Business Administration will be considered an advantage.
