Bupa’s global ambition is to be the world’s most customer centric healthcare organisation. As a global healthcare enterprise, we have a proud history of caring for over 75 years and a clear purpose: “helping people live longer, healthier and happier lives and make a better working world”.

In 2023, we launched our Connected Care strategy, which is driving and accelerating our focus on expanding our health services offerings and increasing our owned provision footprint (both digital and physical). Connected Care is about putting the customer at the centre of everything we do, providing them with seamless and integrated health experiences.

One of the ways we are delivering Connected Care is through the creation of multi-disciplinary Health Centres, providing a high-quality, connected network of health services.

Your Opportunity

Join our team as we embark on an exciting journey to transform healthcare!

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the future of our health centres. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced clinician to build and mould the future of our Connected Care landscape and pave the way as we continue to grow this new area of the business, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are at the forefront of everything we do.

You’ll be

  • Providing primary healthcare services, diagnosing, and treating various illnesses and injuries.
  • Conducting routine screenings and providing advice on preventative care measures; this would include referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as required;
  • Educating patients about health issues and providing advice on how to manage their on-going health;
  • Ensuring continuity of care for all patients and aiding them to utilise their Bupa services to the best of their ability.

Please note, this is a full-time opportunity looking at our new North Melbourne Clinic; if this is of interest, please reach out to discuss further on the information below.

Customer care during COVID

When COVID-19 hit we knew we had a responsibility to care for our customers by putting them at the heart of our decisions.

For this reason, in April 2020 our Health Insurance team invested over $50M and created the hardship team to support our customers when they most needed it.

Ban the asterisk

Our customers have told us that our products can be confusing and complex when we add an asterisk (*) with fine print in our policies. To respond to our customers’ needs, in 2020 the Product Deisgn Squad was created to make our products simpler, more relecant and personalised. Here’s how putting our customers at the heart of everything helped the team ban the *.
