Role Overview:

Join a team of passionate Pega experts and play a key role in driving Bupa's personalization strategy.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and technical support for Bupa's Pega Platform. Your leadership and creativity in the design, development, and implementation of Pega Platform initiatives will ensure the success of those initiatives.

You will have strong project management skills enabling you to provide leadership in the delivery of large, complex solutions within planned timelines. You will lead the system architect team and provide critical direction in Pega Platform Design, Application Design, and Data Model Design, ensuring the delivery of scalable, process-driven applications across our communication channels.

You will provide the expertise and experience in leveraging Pega technology to automate standardized, repetitive, and rules-based business processes, ensuring seamless deployment and stability of the platform in production. As the Lead System Architect, you will also support the management and mentoring of the Pega System Architect team members.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks. You will be responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 8.x and futures.
  • Create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch user experiences.
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements using Pega Systems Smart BPM methodology and DCO tools.
  • Provide expertise to configure and deliver Pega integration services using REST, Email, etc. Manage, implement and maintain Pega case management features.
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering peers to design and implement product features, reusable components, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and business team members to understand and refine requirements and use-cases.
  • Undertake all phases of the Pega development lifecycle including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing.
  • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases.
  • Review code and component implementations and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required.
  • Mentor and guide other members within the team.

Your Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience working with Pega technology.
  • 3+ years of team management experience.
  • Currently hold Pega CSA, CSSA, CLSA 8.x Certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Pega cloud CDH implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pega Upgrades, Integration, Performance Management, and all Pega relevant Tools.
  • 8+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications in PRPC.
  • Demonstrated experience in Runtime Architecture, Integration Architecture, and Blueprint and Design Solutions.
  • Knowledge of .NET 6+ and experience with development of multi-tier applications.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, email and file listeners, queue processor and schedulers.
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise class structures, Data storage, Security (inc Pega access control), Performance tuning, asynchronous processing and Pega Cache.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Applications.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.
  • Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile Engineering Practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies for Pega applications.
  • Demonstrated experience of DevOps practices and tools for Pega implementation and deployment.

  • Pega BIX skills
  • JavaScript language skills
  • Knowledge of service and client gateways
  • Knowledge of event driven architectures
  • Experience with Theme cosmos / Constellation.
  • Experience with process fabric.
