The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager – Strategic Programs & Partners - plays a key role in executing strategic marketing activities and our partner marketing program to help achieve business objectives and targets.
Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic partner marketing plans, supporting in the assessment of future partners, and leading marketing efforts for varied strategic programs across retail, digital, customer strategy, insights and compliance.
The Marketing Manager – Strategic Programs & Partners - collaborates closely with a broad range of internal teams to meet objectives, contributing to new product and proposition development, segmentation strategy, acquisition and retention efforts. They maintain strong working relationships with external strategic partners, external agencies and the in-house creative studio. Additionally, this position carries quality assurance responsibilities and acts as a vital link between teams to ensure campaign collateral and marketing assets are accurate and compliant.
What You’ll Be Doing
Here's what you can look forward to in this role:
- Leading and executing strategic partner marketing activities
- Evaluating potential partners and partnership marketing channels and strategies
- Working closely with Customer Strategy team to develop and implement effective marketing segmentation strategies
- Act as Marketing lead on compliance projects/programs
- Act as the key liaison with our Customer Insights team to evaluate marketing insights and lead the implementation of broad strategies accordingly
- Lead key strategic marketing projects as requested
- Ensure campaigns follow approved processes including compliance with internal and regulatory policies, partner and Bupa brand guidelines
- Day-to-day contact for agencies on specific campaigns or projects
- Work cross functionally to ensure activity is integrated, consistent and is delivered to deadlines
- Work closely with the other Marketing Managers, to ensure integration of key activities or project outcomes across other communications and channels
- Act as a key conduit, connecting various teams to ensure accurate and compliant communications.
What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- A Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related business discipline (essential) with post-graduate studies in Marketing or related business discipline (desirable)
- A demonstrated ability to work within a matrix team structure in a highly regulated industry to deliver business outcomes
- Experience in Health Insurance desirable but not essential
- 7 years + experience in Marketing, Agency and/or Campaign Management
- Strong project management skills
- Advanced understanding and application of marketing strategy principles
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Quick to learn and positive can-do attitude
