At Bupa, purpose meets possible. Join us and help shape a future where healthcare is more connected, more personal and more human.

We’re a global healthcare leader trusted by millions and committed to helping people to live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. Healthcare is changing, and so are we. We’re investing in more clinics, better systems and smarter, more connected ways to help our customers. As we continue to expand our services and invest in innovation, you’ll help create a healthcare system that meets people where they are, responds to what they need and leaves them better than before.

Here, your work has purpose, your voice matters and your future is full of possibility. Just imagine the impact you could make.

The purpose of the People Data Governance and Analytics Reporting Lead is to oversee the frameworks, standards, and practices that ensure the quality, security, and accessibility of people data across Bupa. The role shapes the data governance and reporting strategy, drives consistent data policies and definitions, and ensures compliance with regulations. It leads the People Analytics Reporting service offering, builds data literacy across the People Function, and manages data stewardship to support clear ownership and accountability. The role partners with technology, legal, and senior stakeholders to ensure data platforms and architecture such as Workday, ServiceNow and Power BI align with governance requirements and enable reliable, insights‑driven decision making.

What you’ll need to make it possible

  • Extensive experience in data governance or data management, with a strong record of leadership and driving organisational change.
  • Background in HR data, people analytics, or HRIS environments, with a solid understanding of HR processes and how they translate into actionable analytics.
  • Strong analytical capability, including experience working with large datasets, statistical analysis, data modelling, and visualisation tools such as Power BI and SQL.
  • Experience leading high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making within People functions.
  • Deep knowledge of global and multi‑regional data privacy and compliance frameworks, and experience applying governance methodologies and tools.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, juggle competing priorities, and drive change in fast‑paced environments while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts and build consensus across diverse groups.

Why you’ll love it?

We support our people to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. From providing initiatives that develop careers to looking after our people’s health, wellbeing and futures. Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, with a mix of time in the office and at home, while having plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and take your experience to the next level.

If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s shape the future of healthcare, together.

At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are continuing to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Bupa is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a workplace and environment that is free of discrimination, bullying and harassment.

We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ applicants.
