At Bupa, purpose meets possible. Join us and help shape a future where healthcare is more connected, more personal and more human.

We’re a global healthcare leader trusted by millions and committed to helping people to live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. Healthcare is changing, and so are we. We’re investing in more clinics, better systems and smarter, more connected ways to help our customers. As we continue to expand our services and invest in innovation, you’ll help create a healthcare system that meets people where they are, responds to what they need and leaves them better than before.

Here, your work has purpose, your voice matters and your future is full of possibility. Just imagine the impact you could make.

The purpose of this role:

The purpose of the People Systems Advisor is to deliver an exceptional employee experience by serving as the tier 2 expert for HR systems and processes across the People Team. In this role, you support smooth and reliable people operations by completing Workday tasks, managing escalations through ServiceNow, and resolving more complex system queries and troubleshooting matters.

You provide accurate and best practice guidance on HR policies, processes, and system activities, and act as a key contact for business and employee lifecycle changes, ensuring downstream impacts are understood and managed. A core part of the role involves supporting stakeholders by providing training, maintaining clear and current knowledge articles, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality. Your work strengthens the capability of our support functions and helps create a consistent and intuitive experience for employees and leaders across the organisation.

What you’ll need to make it possible

  • Strong understanding of core HR principles and how HR processes and technology enable high‑quality employee experiences
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, with Workday strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in an operational HR role
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage data, tasks, and requests accurately
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and work through to resolution
  • Proven ability to provide clear and effective guidance to stakeholders across various levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining service quality

Why you’ll love it?

We support our people to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. From providing initiatives that develop careers to looking after our people’s health, wellbeing and futures. Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, with a mix of time in the office and at home, while having plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and take your experience to the next level.

If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s shape the future of healthcare, together.

At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are continuing to build teams that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. Bupa is committed to providing equal opportunities and fostering a workplace and environment that is free of discrimination, bullying and harassment.

We actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ applicants.

We are dedicated to removing barriers to participation. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, or if you’d like to discuss how this role can be flexible for you, please let us know so we can support your participation on an equitable basis.
