The Health Programs team is part of Bupa’s Healthcare Programs and Claims Innovation team and is responsible for the delivery and expansion of alternative models of healthcare delivery that supports value based healthcare. The goal is to improve the health outcomes and experience of Bupa members, while also supporting customer choice and access to affordable, timely healthcare in the right setting.
As the Performance Insights and Reporting Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Health Programs Operations. You will be responsible for leading the performance and reporting function for Health Programs, as well as supporting workforce management for the Bupa Telehealth team.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant data or business-related field
- At least five years’ experience in a data analytics, reporting or workforce role.
- Experience across either private health insurance, private healthcare and/or public healthcare is highly regarded.
- Excellent team and talent development skills, with evidence of having established high performing teams.
- Passion for innovation and going outside the box to figure out new ways of delivering continuous improvements.
- Extensive demonstrated people leadership experience.
- Experience with data analysis, data warehousing and reporting in a health-related field is highly regarded.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
The Performance Insights and Reporting Manager delivers on the position purpose through the following responsibilities:
- Lead and own the performance and reporting function for Health Programs.
- Manage and monitor the performance of Healthcare Programs and Bupa Telehealth, provide operational insights, and make data-driven recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions across Health Programs.
- Collaborate with Technology, and other teams, to migrate and integrate data assets to a new strategic data platform, ensuring data engineering best practices are followed to enable scalable and future ready reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, leverage AI and other methodologies to produce regular performance insights and demand forecasting aligned to KPIs.
- Manage the effective distribution of incoming work in Bupa Telehealth, set a prioritisation framework and oversee workload balance across the team.
- Partner with the Healthcare Program team, the Bupa Telehealth Leadership team and Data Scientists to optimise customer targeting and engagement.
