Senior Delivery Manager

Opportunity:
The 12 month fixed term Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery of high quality, effective project and programme services to the wider business within required timeframes and budgets. The role drives positive engagement with sponsors and stakeholders, working closely with the wider Voice of Customer, technology and Customer Experience teams to ensure success through use of integrated planning, resourcing and governance. The role provides direction, scope, prioritisation and appropriate scheduling on multiple projects and key initiatives. Creating significant value through partnering closely with Bupa key stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
Here's what you can look forward to in this role:
- Own end-to-end delivery governance for the VOC change program, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed scope, time, budget, and quality across multiple technology stacks and initiatives.
- Establish and actively manage integrated delivery plans, dependencies, and critical paths, maintaining visibility of delivery health, risks, and trade-offs.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and issues, driving timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Provide strategic delivery advice to influence prioritisation, sequencing, and backlog trade-offs, balancing customer impact, technical complexity, and organisational capacity.
- Act as a senior engagement lead across business, technology, and vendor partners, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and maintaining momentum.
- Lead prioritisation of initiatives in alignment with the HI strategy and delivery hub priorities, explicitly identifying and managing downstream and cross-portfolio impacts.
- Partner closely with product, architecture, data, and operational leaders to ensure delivery decisions are pragmatic, value-focused, and executable.
What You’ll Bring
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Minimum of a degree level education in a relevant discipline
- Program/ project manager qualifications highly sought (Agile, Scrum, Prince)
- Comprehensive experience in program delivery with application of popular methodologies and frameworks
- Outstanding product focus, stakeholder engagement and management skills, with demonstrable experience working closely with wider product teams.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar style role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mobilise teams through complex process and problem-solving meeting tight delivery schedules.
- Proven experience in detailed program scoping and implementation.
- A strong understanding of product delivery with a customer centric approach.
