Senior Pega System Architect

As a Senior Pega System Architect, you will play an essential role in progressing Bupa’s personalisation strategy by designing, developing, and supporting Pega applications. Your responsibilities include Pega Platform Design, Application Design and, Data Model Design, with a focus on delivering scalable process driven applications across our comms channels. This role requires expertise in leveraging Pega technology to automate standardized, repetitive, and rules-based business processes. Also ensuring seamless deployment and stability of the platform in production. As a senior in the team you will also be mentoring junior team members.
Opportunity Snapshot:
- Analyse, design, and support implementation of business specific Pega solutions and/or framework.
- Responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 8.x.
- Create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch user experience.
- Translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using Pega Systems Smart BPM methodology and DCO tools.
- Provide the expertise to configure and deliver PEGA integration services using REST, Email etc.
- Manage, implement and maintain PEGA case management features.
- Design and implement product features in collaboration with architecture and engineering peers.
- Design, implement and maintain reusable components, frameworks, and libraries Collaborate with business analysts and business team members to understand and refine requirements and use-cases.
- Undertake all phases of the Pega development lifecycle including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing.
- Work closely with architecture and engineering peers in the design of solutions.
- Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
- Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of Bupa.
- Review code and component implementations and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.
- Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required.
- Mentor and guide other members within the team.
Your Contribution:
Qualifications and training
- 5+ years demonstrated experience working with Pega technology and have achieved Pega CSSA 8.x Certification.
- Demonstrated experience with Pega cloud CDH implementation.
- In-Depth knowledge of Pega Upgrades, Integration, Performance Management and all Pega relevant Tools.
- 5+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications in PRPC.
- Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate.
- Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile Engineering Practices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies for Pega applications.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Pega implementation and deployment.
