Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack

Opportunity snapshot:
This role will work within cross-functional Agile teams to support current systems and to develop new features and enhancements for various Bupa Digital systems.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality applications built with .NET technologies backend that meet or exceed business and customer expectations
This role will also focus on building and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly, and high performance web applications, leveraging modern frontend technologies.
This role will be assigned to work in one of product teams, with flexibility to contribute to other development squads aligned with your expertise and the business needs
Your Contribution:
- Build scalable .NET Core APIs and full-stack apps.
- Use IaC and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for efficient deployment.
- Deliver robust solutions across backend, frontend, and cloud platforms.
- Develop responsive UIs with ReactJS, NextJS, and TypeScript.
- Optimize performance and implement automated UI testing.
- Apply clean code and SOLID principles.
- Maintain test coverage and ensure code quality with tools like SonarQube and Checkmarx.
- Use Git, Jest, and Webpack for versioning and testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and pair programming.
- Mentor peers and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and drive improvements.
Qualifications, training & Experience
- 8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in .NET Core API design and integration.
- Strong experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Functions, B2C) and SQL Server.
- Skilled in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
- Proficient in TDD, clean architecture, and secure coding practices.
- Solid frontend experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and accessibility standards.
- Agile team contributor with mentoring experience and strong stakeholder communication.
