You may know Bupa for our health insurance, dental and optical clinics, and aged care services, but did you know we also deliver visa medical assessments across Australia on behalf of the Australian Government for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.
What you’ll need to make it possible
As our Medical Assessment Centre Manager, you’ll lead a team of clinical and non-clinical staff in delivering our medical assessment services. You’ll be accountable for the financial, operational and clinical quality and safety of the Centre, including making sure we’re meeting our customer experience and contract KPIs.
Medical leadership experience is a bonus, but this role is also a great career step for those with solid Health Service experience that fit the criteria below.
- Efficient and effective operations of the Brand New Perth Bupa Medical Visa Services Centre.
- Championing the customer experience, through engaging, coaching, and listening to team members and customer feedback, to maintain an excellent level of service
- Managing customer escalations
- Profit and loss accountability for the medical assessment centre
- Effective management of contracted third party service providers to perform services to required standard
- Forecasting and planning to anticipate and meet current and future business needs.
- Monitoring and managing the centre and employees’ compliance with: legal and regulatory standards, internal operating procedures, Bupa’s risk and compliance policies, compliance training, frameworks and regulatory requirements
You will:
- Significant proven experience leading and managing medium to large scale operating environments in clinical or commercial setting
- People focused with the ability to influence
- Have strong customer experience focus
- Business management skills including the responsibility of managing the profit and loss outcomes
- Experience in, and a reputation for, effective time management and delivery on KPIs with evidence of leading a team in the same Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
- Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
