The purpose of this job is…..

As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we’re growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live. This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in new purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

What you’ll need to make it possible

Reporting to and supported by the Team Leader, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.

 We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Health Assessor join our Perth team on a casual basis from Monday to Friday!

  • Availability to work across a rotational roster between opening hours
  • Casual position with a view to become permanent 
  • Casual one or two days during the week - weekend availability a must at least one day

In this role you will:

  • Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
  • Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
  • Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
  • Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record

Experience:

  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
  • Two years experience with an Australian company doing venipuncture
  • Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
  • Excellent customer service skills
