Ready for a new nursing adventure?
Join Bupa Aged Care and be at the heart of it in Queens Park.
As Australia's largest regional aged care provider, we continue to be part of communities driven by vision, passion and hard work. We make life better for thousands. That includes yours. You make a difference to our residents and their families, and we want to make sure you’re absolutely supported to do just that.
The elegant Bupa Queens Park is set in a beachside suburb of Eastern Sydney, 7 mins from Bondi. Accessible by public transport, it consists of 71 beds, with various care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
The heart of the role
Our Carer Companions will have a “Person First” approach in care planning and assisting our new residents and their families with the process of settling into the home and transitioning into an aged care setting.
They will coordinate the admissions and respond to and assist with queries and concerns from the residents and their family members.
They will advise new residents of additional services that are on offer and ensure services are delivered.
The Carer Companion will complete meal service with the new residents as part of settling in by escorting them to the dining room and ensure they know how the meal service works.
We’re always looking for ways to improve, and you’ll be playing a pivotal role in the pursuit of best-quality outcomes for much loved and valued residents.
