At Bupa, purpose meets possible. Join us and help shape a future where healthcare is more connected, personal and human.

We’re a global healthcare leader trusted by millions, committed to helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives. As healthcare evolves, so do we, investing in smarter systems, modern clinics and innovative ways to better support our customers.

Bupa Dental Seaford is a brand-new, state-of-the-art practice opening soon, and we’re building our founding team. We’re seeking passionate Dental Assistants to join us on a full-time, part-time and Casual basis, with opportunities also available for those new to the industry who are eager to start their career in dental care.

This is more than a job. It’s a chance to make a real impact every day, with ongoing training, support and the opportunity to help shape the culture of a new clinic from the ground up.

Here, your work has purpose, your voice matters and your future is full of possibility.

The purpose of this job is…

To support the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. The Dental Assistant assists with clinical procedures, maintains infection control standards, ensures equipment is properly sterilised, and keeps treatment rooms clean, organised, and ready for patient care.

What you’ll need to make it possible:

  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for building a career in dental assisting. While previous experience or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting is valued, we highly encourage applications from candidates who are eager to learn, committed to delivering excellent patient care, and motivated to grow within the dental industry.
  • Demonstrated chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and sound knowledge of dental instrumentation. For candidates new to the industry, a willingness to learn these skills and develop professionally is highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of infection control, with the ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS requirements, or the aptitude and commitment to learn and apply these standards quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, patient-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern, high-volume dental practice while contributing positively to a supportive team culture

Why you’ll love it?

  • A people-first culture that supports your health, happiness, and wellbeing.
  • Career growth opportunities through ongoing learning and internal pathways.
  • Exclusive benefits and discounts, including health insurance, tech, fitness, and lifestyle perks.
  • A workplace that recognises, rewards, and celebrates your success.

Here at Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued. We are committed to building diverse teams that are reflective of the communities we serve and fostering a fair and inclusive workplace free from discrimination, bullying and harassment. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ applicants and are dedicated to removing barriers to participation.

If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s shape the future of healthcare, together.

For successful candidates, a Working with Children Check permit is required as part of our mandatory background check screening process.
