But what you might not realise is that we also deliver health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government via Bupa Medical Visa Services, for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.

This isn’t your average Pathology Collector position. This is your opportunity to join a closeknit team and Centre and have a real impact on establishing the Bupa Medical Visa Services customer experience on the Gold coast.
About the role:
Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
Details of the role include:
- Casual Pathology Collector to join our team!
- Medical centre hours are between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am – 4:30pm on weekends, so there is an expectation you will be able to work these hours as requested across a rotating roster.
- 5hrs day Monday to Saturday
The role includes:
- Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
- Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
- Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
- Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
Your background:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
- Phlebotomy experience essential
- Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
- Excellent customer service skills
