The purpose of this job is….. 
Bupa Medical Visa Services (BMVS) delivers health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government to our customers who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia. BMVS plays a key role in enabling migration while protecting Australia’s high health standards through the visa and migration medical service. 

Our Receptionist/Concierge’s are responsible for greeting customers, providing first-level information and instructions and guiding customers through the medical assessment process - making sure that customers are aware of what they need to do and why. This role is essential in mobilising a positive and professional customer experience and journey through the BMVS Assessment Centre and visa medical process.

What you’ll need to make it possible 

  • Available to work on a casual basis at our Sydney CBD location
  • Weekend availability is a must for this role 
  • Greeting customers and ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed and resolved with a helpful, customer-focussed and professional approach
  • Adhering to established process and procedure accurately, assist the customer through the initial steps of the assessment process
  • Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, adapting communication style to meet the needs of the customer and convey information and key points clearly and concisely
  • Sound IT and computer skills including experience with Microsoft suite, customer databases and telephony systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a highly structured environment driven by procedure and process, and adhere to established processes, quality standards and targets
