About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Partner to join our People function within Health Services. As a key member of the Dental People team, you will collaborate across multiple business units including Dental, Optical, and Connected Care to drive learning and development initiatives. This role is crucial for enhancing leadership capabilities and supporting career development for managers and frontline leaders, particularly within dental practices, optical stores, and healthcare centres.
You will play a vital role in shaping and delivering impactful leadership development programs, career pathways, and operational training. With a focus on leadership and management skills, you will foster growth and performance, ensuring that our leaders are equipped with the tools they need to succeed. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong stakeholder management, as you will be engaging with a variety of teams and leaders across different units.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the L&D Manager to develop and execute a learning strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Design and facilitate engaging training sessions that promote leadership and career development.
- Drive the annual L&D calendar, ensuring the timely planning and delivery of relevant programs.
- Lead leadership initiatives and support operations training, addressing unique needs across business units.
- Develop and refine career pathways and training content to support leadership progression.
- Conduct training needs analysis to leverage existing resources and optimize learning outcomes.
- Provide coaching and feedback to enhance learning effectiveness and application.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of learning programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert and positive role model for learning and development best practices.
About You
We are looking for an individual with:
- Tertiary qualifications in organisational psychology, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A combination of Certificate IV Training and Assessment and practical experience in capability development (highly advantageous).
- Extensive facilitation experience (5+ years), with a strong understanding of adult learning methodologies.
- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and feedback skills, with experience in management or frontline leadership roles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (basic Excel skills such as V-lookups required).
- A growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
