Occupational Therapist | Roselands
Sydney, Australia
Be at the heart of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives – physically and mentally.
We recognise the growing need for functional, mental health, and wellbeing-focused allied health interventions. At Mindplace, we’re committed to bridging the gap in services by developing a national network of clinics focused on mental health, rehabilitation, and independence in daily living. This network is a key part of our future vision, ensuring clients receive high-quality, accessible, and innovative support when it matters most.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Mindplace, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting clients to improve their mental health, daily functioning, and overall wellbeing. This is a patient-facing clinical role where you will work with individuals experiencing challenges with mental health, psychosocial disability, or functional limitations.
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ functional abilities, daily routines, and psychosocial needs.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based, personalised interventions to enhance independence, coping strategies, and life participation.
- Support clients in building skills for self-care, work, education, and community engagement.
- Apply mental health-informed strategies including stress management, sensory regulation, and activity-based interventions.
- Collaborate closely with Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Exercise Physiologists, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor progress to ensure clients achieve meaningful outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on clients’ everyday lives, contributing to recovery, resilience, and long-term wellbeing, within a growing, supportive multidisciplinary team.
Your Opportunity
This is a permanent part-time position (2 days per week, 0.4 FTE) and will be based at our new centre in Roselands, opening November 2025.
Further to our current locations, there is future growth as we work towards our goal of 60 Mindplace clinics nationally, ensuring access to support across Australia. If you’re interested in being a part of the journey now or in the future, we’d love to hear from you.
