About the Home
Bupa Waratah is a modern care home set in the quiet residential suburb of Waratah, Newcastle. You will be close to the local community with Waratah village shopping centre, parks including Blackbutt reserve, Newcastle Harbour and local beaches. It consists of 109 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
Use your fantastic cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference. Provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
Duties
- Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
- Complete required documentation and reporting
- Ad hoc support to the broader team as required, including laundry and catering
Skills and Experience
- Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
- Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
