Global Mobility - Wellbeing Program Specialist

Assignment Location

APAC – Melbourne based, with opportunities to travel to other states where appropriate to support wellbeing strategy development, 2027 calendar, stakeholder engagement, and employee events.

Assignment Duration

3 months in total, with 8 weeks based in Australia.

About the Assignment

This assignment will support the development and planning of Bupa's 2027 Wellbeing calendar and events strategy across Australia, New Zealand & Hong Kong.

Working closely with the Wellbeing team and partnering with Business Unit stakeholders. The role will support the design, coordination, communication, and implementation of 2027 calendar of events and activities that align to our six pillars of wellbeing and employee engagement across APAC.

The development of this calendar will showcase the broad range of services and activities available to our people and help us be more deliberate in our execution. It will also strengthen participation by providing a view of activity across the full calendar year.

As a key member of the Melbourne office, you will have an opportunity to represent the wellbeing team in events, training delivery, and site visits. You will also support stakeholder engagement activities and help embed a wellbeing culture across the organisation.

The role will provide exposure to a broad range of wellbeing activity; leadership training, medical benefits support, business partnering and day to day mailbox management, administration and planning. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to support delivery against strategic objectives while creating meaningful experiences that enable all employees to thrive in a culture of wellbeing.

In addition, this role will contribute to reporting, insights, and governance activities, helping measure progress and communicate outcomes to leadership teams and key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

As part of this strategic agenda, you'll:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and activities that promote wellbeing across APAC aligning to our six pillars. Physical, Mental, Social, Digital, Environment and Financial Wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement communication plans and engagement activities that increase awareness, understanding, and participation in wellbeing programs.
  • Partner with Business Units and key stakeholders to support the delivery of good welling practices and role model what good looks like
  • Support wellbeing events and training, awareness campaigns, employee network activities, and key calendar moments, both virtually and in person.
  • Assist in creating presentations, resources, toolkits, and communications that promote wellbeing, showcase Viva offer and support to our people.
  • Actively participate in activities that promote wellbeing and create a culture of care.
  • Use insights and data from Pulse, training feedback to help inform the activities as part of the 2027 calendar.
  • Stay informed on emerging wellbeing trends, best practices, and external benchmarks to support continuous improvement.

Essential

  • Experience in communications, employee engagement, project coordination, events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Facilitation experience valuable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for wellbeing, caring for others, and demonstrated ability of previous experience driving wellbeing in the workplace.

Desirable

  • Previous experience supporting DEI, Culture, Wellbeing, People, Corporate Affairs, or Sustainability initiatives.
  • Understanding of the positive impacts physical and mental wellbeing has on a person and the connection to engagement and performance outcomes in the workplace.
  • Experience working across multiple Business Units and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience supporting employee capability and uplift
  • Knowledge of reporting, benchmarking, or data analysis.
