About the Role
As a Claims Processing Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex claim requests across Ancillary, Medical, and Hospital claims. You will be the key link between Bupa and our members and providers—ensuring claims are processed accurately, queries are resolved promptly, and that every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and process a range of claims, including Hospital, Medical, and Ancillary
- Accurately interpret and apply health insurance policies, schedules, and regulations
- Manage inbound and outbound communications related to claims and accounts
- Proactively identify process or system improvements to enhance service delivery and self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of claim-related enquiries
Work Arrangements
- Initial onboarding and training will be based onsite at our Adelaide office for the first three weeks
- Once onboarding is complete, and in consultation with your team leader, you will be eligible to work hybrid, with flexibility to work from home
About You
You don’t need prior experience in health insurance claims—but we are looking for individuals who are curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality work
You’ll bring:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence navigating multiple computer systems and digital tools
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to also work independently
