Work with a team that develops and executes strategies that support the goal of sustainable affordability by minimising claims risk. 

The Hospital Partnerships Administrator role supports HealthCare Management Hospital Engagement and Contract Manager and is principally responsible for managing Hospital Purchaser Provider Agreement (HPPA) documentation as well as undertaking a wide range of administrative functions that support Bupa’s arrangements with providers (hospitals, and associated services), aligned to improving our Members hospital experience.

How will I help? 

Key accountabilities include: 

  • Provide high quality contract management technical interpretation to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the Agreement. 
  • Provide assistance and advice to improve hospital provider claims management. 
  • Provision of a high level of administrative support to Hospital Engagement and Contracting Managers and fellow Hospital Partnerships Administrators involved in negotiations with healthcare providers for facilities within the Network. 
  • Preparation of provider contracts & schedules as directed by Hospital Engagement & Contracting Managers 
  • Undertaking all aspects required to facilitate the use of electronic signature technology and digital transaction management services to create, send and receive HPPA’s. 
  • Organising new Agreements to be loaded into the claims processing system. 
  • Entering key features of Agreement renewal outcome in relevant Provider Management Platforms and databases operated by Hospital & Medical Partnerships and maintenance of these databases
  • Supporting Hospital Engagement and Contracting Managers in managing Customer Relations/PHIO issues.

What do I need? 

  • Customer Management Systems (CMR) familiarity ideal but not essesntial. (Cyclops, BOSS, IWS Workflow) 
  • Medical Terminology
  • Futrix systems knowledge desirable 
  • Keyboard and Data Entry Skills of a high level and accuracy. 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Claims Processing, CRaCA or HI business. 
  • Prior Health Industry or Health Insurance industry experience preferred. 
  • Experience dealing directly with hospital providers.
