About The Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will provide quality and timely maintenance service across the Care Home, ensuring facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard that aligns with regulatory requirements and resident preferences. You will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Duties
- Deliver high standard Property services including repairs and maintenance services to the Care Home in accordance with relevant service level agreement, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; this includes but is not limited to:
- Undertake and oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance by assessing and actioning maintenance requests in accordance with the approved delegations of authority.
- Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with the Maintenance Schedules
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation regarding day-to-day repairs and maintenance, maintenance logs, asset registers, preventative maintenance, audit records, continuous improvement and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of Managing of the Hazardous Materials Programme including on-going administrative support on reporting, coordinating external audit arrangement, training and education to staff.
- Partake and lead continuous improvement or corrective activities associated with the care home facilities
- Assist in the development of repair and maintenance budget, monitor the actual utilisation of budget and escalates if there is any over expenditure.
- Oversee the Care Home Emergency management system, ensure that it is maintained, regularly tested and appropriate training and induction occurs.
- Document and communicate team and individual performance expectations
- Manage the work of Maintenance, Cleaning and Laundry Assistants across the shift in view of dining requirements
Skills and Experience
- Formal qualifications at post-trade or Advanced Certificate or Associate Diploma level; and / or relevant skills training or experience
- Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
- The ability to solve problems independently
