About the opportunity:

Face Value Dental are based in the beautiful Brisbane city. We are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm with 2 late nights a week (Tuesday and Thursday) finishing at 8pm. However, this role will mainly sit between 9am-5pm! No weekends, hello work life balance!

Heart of the role:

• Construct, customise and repair dental appliances for patients in accordance to the requirements as determined by the Dentist, 
• Pouring dental impressions, trimming models, preparing and articulating dental models
• Requirement for ceramic crowns including implant restorations
• Fabrication of suckdown retainer, bleaching stents, mouthguards, custom impression trays, crowns, metal clasps, inlays, bridgework and other aids
• Setting up teeth on both full and partial dentures
• Repairing broken dentures and replacing lost natural teeth by adding pontic to the denture
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory and laboratory equipment in accordance to the relevant practice protocols and procedures
• Monitor and maintain an appropriate level of laboratory stock and place order of supplies as required
• Assist the Dentist as required.

What you'll bring:

• 12 months+ Dental Technician experience in a busy dental practice
• Ideally a Bachelor of Dental Prosthetics, but open to those without who can demonstrate required skills and experience within the role
• Proven record in time management & organisation skills
• A keen eye for detail, ability to work autonomously and confidence in your own work
