About the Practice:
Our Bupa Dental Caringbah is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Assistant Practice Manager as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Caringbah, NSW for a dedicated Assistant Practice Manager seeking permanent full-time work:
- Supporting the Practice Manager in coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
- Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
- Contribute to and assist in facilitating regular team meetings
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
- General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
- In the absence of the Practice Manager you will be required to step into the role of Acting Practice Manager
- Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff
You’ll be:
- Relied on for your strong leadership and administrative skills, and no prior dental experience is needed
- Willing to learn dental operations and grow within the role
- Experienced in business and people management
- Able to demonstrate excellent organisational, administrative, and time-management abilities
- Skilled in communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service
- Capable of understanding financial performance, including generating income and managing costs
- Confident in handling challenging conversations and resolving issues promptly
- Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people, from dentists and patients to practice teams
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong business acumen
