The purpose of the Assistant Practice Manager is to play a vital role in the effective running of the practice by providing essential support to the Practice Manager to showcase leadership and operational attributes.
What you’ll need to make it possible
- Strong leadership and admin skills within the dental industry
- Experience in people and business management, with an understanding of budgets and financial performance
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong business acumen
- Confidence managing recruitment, team meetings, and day-to-day operations
- Excellent organisation, time management, and communication skills (no dental experience required)
- Ability to handle patient interactions professionally, including appointments, enquiries, accounts, and payments (EFTPOS & HiCaps)
- Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions with a medium level of accountability
