Key details:
Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.
- Full-time fixed term contract positions ending December 2026
- Must have availability to work 5 days per week (38 hours per week)
- Must have availability on weekends, either Saturday/Sunday or both on a rotational roster.
- Centre hours can be from 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, and Weekends 8am-4pm
- Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours
What you’ll do:
- Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
- Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
- Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
- Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record
Your background:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
- 2 years phlebotomy experience (essential)
- Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
- Excellent customer service skills
