But what you might not realise is that we also deliver health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government via Bupa Medical Visa Services, for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.

About the role: 

Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, Pathology Collectors/Health Assessors will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process.


Details of these roles include:


  • 2 part-time fixed term contract positions ending 31st of January 2025
  • Must have availability to work 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday or Monday, Tuesday & Friday)
  • Must have availability on weekends, either Saturday/Sunday or both, this does come with weekend penalties!
  • Medical centre hours are from 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday, and potential for Saturdays 8-4pm 
  • Availability to work on a rotational roster between opening hours


The role includes:
  •  Identity checks, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis, and venepuncture
  •  Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service
  •  Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures
  •  Accurate documentation of results in eHealth record


Your background: 
  • Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory)
  • 2 years phlebotomy experience essential
  • Experience working with people of multi-cultural background
  • Excellent customer service skills
