About the Practice:

Our Bupa Dental Glen Waverley practice is well known for its full range of dental services including restorative dental services, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, sedation and orthodontics including clear aligners and fixed braces. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist, as well as a Dental Assistant as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Two Separate Opportunities:

We are recruiting for two full-time roles, each with its own availability requirements:

1. Dental Assistant (DA)

• Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:45pm
• Saturday availability required (on rotation)

2. Dental Assistant / Receptionist (DA/Receptionist)

• Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:45pm

The Opportunity:

We have TWO versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunities at our Glen Waverley, VIC practice available for a Dental Assistant / Receptionist and a Dental Assistant seeking full time work: 

• Modern dental practice with 5 chairs running a wide range of dental treatments
• Friendly, fun and dedicated team
• Close to public transport via bus and offer onsite parking for just $5 a day
• Maintain our amazing customer and team culture - providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
• Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
• Treatment coordination 
• Provide instrument sterilisation
• Maintain infection control standards and procedures
• Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
• Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
• Making patients aware of dental services and offers
• Handling payments
• Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
• High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner

You'll be:

• Ideally 6+ months’ experience working in Australia as a Dental Assistant. Training provided for the dual Receptionist role
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about customer service and patient care
• Organised with attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
