Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a fully embedded engineer with 70% development work and 30% support activity in this role. This position also offers an on-call allowance with the opportunity to earn some extra dollars.
Opportunity Snapshot:
- Responsible for the triage, analysis, design, coding and testing activities with an expectation of contributing to BAU support and development activities utilising your skills in Sitecore .Net, web front end technology.
- You are member of Digital Platforms team.
- You will be requested to work on support and enhancements for applications built using Sitecore .NET and web technologies to meet or exceed the business and customer expectations.
- You will be requested to contribute to development activities on Sitecore and .Net applications.

Qualifications and training
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years or more of demonstrable experience in delivery and support of web in .Net domains or other similar technologies.
- Evidence in successful delivery of web application projects, hence undertaking system analysis, development, and testing activities.
- Experience with front end development tools including but not limited to; HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, React and JQuery.
- Great experience and exposure on Azure Cloud Hosting platforms.
- Good understanding in monitoring and support web applications.
- Experience on Sitecore CMS platforms and knowledge with Azure Dev-ops is a plus.
- Good understanding and experience in implementing testable software using best practices and design patterns, hence developing high quality code and regression tests that leverage existing Bupa code libraries, patterns and architectural techniques.
