The opportunity:
We’re looking for 2 Business Systems Analysts to join our Delivery Excellence team, where you’ll play an important role to ensure Bupa’s core system reference data and configuration reflects our requirements and supports business processes.
In this role, you’ll work closely with various teams within our Health Insurance business, where you’ll provide expert advice, resolve issues, configure systems, build Health Insurance products, maintain end user tools and provide unwavering support to our providers and partners.
What do I need?
- Prior experience in the Private Health Insurance industry and knowledge of governing legislation and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience using end user tools and technologies including Excel and SQL to build queries to interrogate data.
This is a permanent full-time position, based in either our Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Sydney offices. Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements so you can work from the office or from home.
How will I help?
You will add value by:
- Performing processes to accurately load configuration for HI Products, Rates, Medicare Benefits Schedule, Medical Gap Scheme, Prosthesis items, Pharmacy items, Hospital contracts, Medical Indexation and Provider data.
- Providing expert authoritative advice on system configuration in BUPA core systems that support critical business processes.
- Providing support to internal teams and resolve issues raised by our customers and partners.
- Analysing datasets to ensure data loaded to production environments are accurate and reflects current regularity information and aligns to Bupa configuration requirements.
- Collaborating with BUPA teams to implement solutions that meet a wide range of stakeholder requirements.
- Leading and participate in continuous improvement activities to optimise processes and ways of working.
- Representing the Delivery Excellence Team when contributing to initiatives and projects that require subject matter expertise or system configuration.
