Supporting Bupa’s ambition to be Australia-Pacific's most customer-centric healthcare company, we are moving towards a Content as a Service (CaaS) model. Our content vision is to provide people with personalised and relevant content when, where and how they need it.As a part of the Content Experience team, the Content Modelling Specialist will initially be embedded in the dedicated CaaS squad. Here, a primary function will be to build out an efficient content modelling system that can be embedded into, and scale with, Bupa’s design system. This includes taking a holistic approach to the ongoing development of a component tagging system. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Create a content modelling system that can be embedded into, and scale with, Bupa’s design system. 
  • Modelling all kinds of content across digital channels into content types and their component parts.
  • Architect content type templates and attributes of the content type elements to enable a COPE (Create once publish everywhere) publishing experience.
  • Define the attributes of each modelled content type element.
  • Define, maintain, and evolve content modelling to guide the evolution of a digital product across its entire lifecycle.
  • Model and govern taxonomies and fields supporting multi-channel content production. 
  • Support the building of inclusive design principles and accessible experiences for everyone. 
  • Responsible for the maintenance, governance, and adoption of a unified Bupa’s multi-channel Content Modelling. 
  • Apply UX-writing and digital content expertise in digital, agile multi-channel environments.
  •  Adhere to and promote best practice digital content principles 
  • Use analytics and customer insights to help identify optimisations that will improve customer experience and content quality.
  •  Devise evidence-based content recommendations based on user-testing, SEO research, content audits and inputs from cross-functional teams. 
  • Translate user and business requirements into compelling experiences. 
  • Support inclusive content design principles and accessible experiences for everyone. 
  • Synthesising complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of foundational content governance guidelines, best practices, tools and standards

Qualifications, Training and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in journalism, professional writing and editing or a similar communications field. 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in content modelling, content design, UX content strategy, product content design or information architecture. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in content design systems, content modelling and/or information architecture. 
  • Experience working in a headless CMS applying CaaS methods and strategies. 
  • Traditional CMS production experience. • Working knowledge of content design and governance principles 
  • Strong background in using data and research to optimise content performance. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail 
  • High-level copywriting and editing experience
